Dr. Cooper J. Field is a board-certified family physician. As a Kamas Valley native who was raised on a family ranch in Peoa, he is excited to be home and serving the local community. He graduated from South Summit High School and then attended Southern Utah University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition. He received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Utah, where he was also heavily involved in the Utah rural health program. He finalized his training in Indiana, where he completed a family medicine residency at Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. Prior to joining the Kamas and Coalville Health Centers, he worked for four years at a rural health clinic and critical access hospital in Gooding, Idaho.
Dr. Field is married and has three kids. He enjoys adventures with his kids, gardening, and working with his dog and horse. Don’t be surprised if you find him backpacking, hunting, fishing, or driving 4×4 in the Uintas.
