Mikenzie Hendricks, PA-C, grew up in the scenic Utah Valley. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Modern Dance at Westminster University in Salt Lake City before pursuing her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut.
Upon completing her studies, Mikenzie was honored to be inducted into the Pi Alpha National Honors Society for Physician Assistants. She remains dedicated to lifelong learning and serving her community.
Sara Miller, APRN, is a lifelong Utahn, having grown up in Lindon, UT. Sara completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Weber State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Sara completed a Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.
Jake White, PA-C grew up in Salt Lake City, UT. He attended the University of Utah for his undergraduate degree where he studied Kinesiology and Spanish. While completing his education he worked as an AEMT and developed a passion for medicine and patient care. After his undergraduate education he completed his Physician Assistant training through Wichita State University in Kansas. During his time in Kansas, he spent many clinical hours working in rural locations, which inspired him to join the Kamas community.
Troy Johnson PA-C was born in Ogden and raised in Kaysville, Utah. He attended Weber State University and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Zoology. While studying at Weber State, he worked as a CNA on the Behavioral Health Unit at Davis Hospital and Medical Center. He went on to continue his education in California where he went to Physician Assistant school at Southern California University of Health Science in Whittier, CA. He graduated in 2021 with his Masters degree in Physician Assistant studies.
Jaclyn Piper-Williams is a Family Nurse Practitioner with Huntsman Cancer Institute's Supportive Oncology and Survivorship team, now joining Kamas Health Center's team for urgent and primary care. She enjoys taking care of patients of all ages, providing care which provides symptom relief and improved quality of life.
Jeanette Vernon RN, MPAS-C is a life-long resident of Coalville, Utah. She attended Weber State University and received her Associates Degree in nursing. She began her nursing career at the Summit County Hospital. After it closed she became an employee of Dr. Wain Allen at the Coalville Health Center.
Greg Iverson grew up in Salt Lake City and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Utah. He attended medical school on a U.S. Army scholarship at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. He performed an internship and Family Medicine residency at Madigan Army Medical Center, Fort Lewis, WA.
Dr. D. Wain Allen is a graduate of George Washington University. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and completed his Active Duty Army Service at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He has been in practice at both of the Coalville and Kamas Clinics since 1984.
