Dr. D. Wain Allen is a graduate of George Washington University. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and completed his Active Duty Army Service at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He has been in practice at both of the Coalville and Kamas Clinics since 1984.
He was born and raised in Fairfield, Montana. Dr Allen has been married to his wife Rebecca for the past 42 years. They are the proud parents of 4 children and 4 grand-daughters.
Dr. Allen is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He is a certified prescriber of Suboxone for Narcotic Addiction Management and has a large chronic pain practice as well. He provides care to patients at the Rocky Mountain Care Center, a nursing home in Heber, where he serves as Medical Director. He serves as the Medical Director for Encompass Home Care and Hospice, an agency that provides care in Summit and Wasatch Counties. He has been active in both state and national Family Medicine affairs. He is past-president of the Utah Academy of Family Physicans. He is the current Chief Medical Officer of the new Park City Medical Center. He is a retired LTC in the United States Army Reserve, having served both in the United States and abroad during his career as an Army Physician.
